Join us for the Rites of Beltane
April 30 through May 2, 2004.
Pagans, Heathens, and all those curious are welcome
We will be camping through the weekend at a 60 acre site in Black River Falls, WI. There's a beach for swimming, electric sites, indoor showers, and facilities. Check here for pictures of its beauty and for directions.
Cost for a rustic site is $20 per person and $25 per person for an electric site
Vendor booths are available, contact listed persons below for details.
The weekend will consist of:
Noon - 8 pm check-in and sign up for the chance to be chosen as May Queen or May King
Ancestor Ritual
Bring candle or photograph to honor your loved ones
Pot luck & Social Gathering
Bring dish to pass
There will be music, dancing, drumming, a bonfire, and Beltane merriment
Early morning ritual followed by nature hike.
Workshops throughout the day
Herbs 101
Divination
Reiki
Chakras
Craft Circle
(possibly more)
Selecting of the May Queen and King
Druid Bannock Ritual
Honoring the Sidhe
Maypole Dancing
Drumming Circles
Main Multi-Path Ritual in the evening
followed by a feast of roast pig, turkey, and stone soup.
We will have a vegetarian and a meat version of the stone soup. Please bring an item for one or the other. Please have your food item prepared and ready to go into the pot.
(Ex. peeled and washed potato's, etc. pre-cooked - off the bone meat.)
After the feast we will have Bon/Bale fire jumping
Music, Dancing, drumming, and YES! More Beltane merriment!
Clean up and departure
Campground must look nicer when we leave than it did when we arrived

(You are responsible for your own breakfast, lunch, snacks and drinks. Dinner Friday and Saturday evening will be a group effort. Please bring your own place settings and don't forget bowls for the stone soup.)
Offerings for the Sid he/Fay ritual such as tied ribbons, trinkets, flowers or herbs. There will be an ancestor altar, so bring a picture of your loved one or a candle.
Bring something to represent your favorite element(s) for the Elemental Altars.
Bring craft supplies to make a crown for Beltane
All Minors MUST be Accompanied by a Parent or Legal Guardian. Legal guardians please bring proof because of legal reasons.For Your Safety There are NO GLASS CONTAINERS ALLOWED At NCN North Campground. Violators will get ONE warning and then be asked to leave with no refund.
(this is a campground rule so please respect it)
At NCN Camp North you will find we have a ZERO TOLERANCE DRUG POLICY. Violators will be asked to leave with no refund.
Note to parents: As this is a fertility celebration, there may be nudity. We will try to keep this after hours, but we cannot be held responsible if and when it occurs at other times of the day.
It is necessary to R.S.V.P. as space is limited
